Summary

Bigson collects no data. It has no server, makes no network requests, and stores nothing about you.

What the extension does with page content

On pages whose content is raw JSON or NDJSON, the extension reads that content inside your browser tab to display it. Files you drop or paste into the standalone viewer page are read the same way. This content is processed in memory, is never transmitted anywhere, and is discarded when you close the tab.

What is collected

Nothing. No personal information, browsing history, analytics, crash reports, identifiers, or usage statistics.

Network access

The extension contains no code capable of sending data off your device: no fetch, XMLHttpRequest, WebSocket or beacon calls. It requests no extension permissions.

Clipboard

When you press Path, the selected path is written to your clipboard. That is the only thing the extension writes outside the page.

Third parties

No data is shared with or sold to anyone, because none is collected.

Changes

If this ever changes, this page will be updated before the release that changes it, and the change will be stated in the release notes.
